Q. Why should I drink ionized alkaline water?
A. The typical user will experience three main benefits from drinking ionized alkaline water. First and foremost, it is a powerful antioxidant. You get all the benefits of antioxidants without having to pay separately for them or with harmful additives. Because of the ionized power and its alkaline content you balance your bodies pH levels. Because of the molecular changes that occur to H2O by process of electrolysis you’ll find ionized water to be much more hydrating than standard water.
Q. How does ionized water get its antioxidant properties?
A. Ionized water has an increased amount of hydroxyl ions. These hydroxyl ions donate an electron to the free radicals thereby neutralizing them. Once neutralized, the free radicals are unable to cause damage to the tissues thereby preserving their function. The antioxidant mechanism of neutralizing the free radicals prevents the occurrence of numerous diseases that are associated with an increased inflammation or concentration of free radicals in the body.
Q. Who is ionized water intended for?
A. People and pets – in fact ionized water is intended for anyone who is conscientious about their long term health and want the best quality and clean tasting drinking water.
Q. Can a person drink too much alkaline water?
A. No! Although a person can become water toxic if they drink more than they should, this rare condition has nothing to do with the content of the water. However, if you have a medical condition, it is best that you consume water according to your doctor’s recommendations.
Q. How soon after starting on my ionized water program should I expect to see results?
A. This will vary from individual to individual. You should be feeling the results anywhere from a day to a few short weeks.
Q. Are there any negative effects to using ionized water?
A. When used properly there are no known negative effects.
Q. How should I start using ionized water?
A. When just beginning you should allow yourself no more than 1-3 glasses per day, starting at alkaline pH level 8.5. As your body adjusts to the miraculous power of ionized water, you can then use ionized water in the same manner you had used traditional water, increasing to 6-8 glasses per day.
Q. Why should I purchase a water ionizer machine?
A. It is the quickest, easiest, and least expensive way to obtain ionized water. The money spent on other water filters, refill water stations, and plastic bottles of water all add up to be more expensive and harmful to the environment in the long run.
Q. Will I need to hire a plumber to install my ionizer?
A. Our water ionizer system fits most standard kitchen faucets and comes with easy step-by-step instructions that you can install within 10 minutes. If you have nonstandard (pull-out) faucets, or prefer to have the machine install under the counter, please contact us and we would be happy to assist you.
Q. Is drinking ionized water safe for children?
A. Absolutely. It is a natural way to provide children with extra doses of the calcium that children need as their bodies grow.
Q. How do we use the pH test solution?
A. Collect 10cc of water sample and for best result, add 2-3 drops of the pH test solution to the test sample. Then, compare result with the chart on the bottle.
Q. How do we use the chlorine test solution?
A. Collect 10cc of water sample and for best result, add 2-3 drops of the chlorine test solution to the water sample. If a yellow tint appears, this indicates a presence of chlorine in the water.

A2O® Water ionizers are approved as a medical device by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare. We offer 5 years warranty on standard parts and labor for MX99 and 3 years for MX55.
